The CBA Culture

CBA is a mission-driven ministry whose objective is to proclaim Jesus Christ throughout Canada. The mission of CBA is to help meet both the spiritual and physical needs of people. For CBA team members, this means they can end each workday knowing they have been part of something profoundly important. At CBA, a “job” is not as much a job as it is a calling!

Daily Prayer

Recognizing the importance of maintaining a strong commitment to the spiritual priorities of CBA, employees gather each morning for a time of prayer. Morning prayer is considered part of the paid workday.

Vacation

CBA encourages employees to take time away from their normal work schedule for spiritual, mental and physical refreshment. Vacation is awarded as follows:

Full-time regular non-exempt employees receive 75 hours per year (112.50 hours per year after five years of service).
Vacation hours are accrued on a monthly basis.

Sick Leave

Regular full-time employees accrue sick leave at the rate of 7.5 hours per month. Regular part-time employees accrue sick leave at the rate of 4 hours per month.

Medical and Dental Insurance

CBA offers employees a comprehensive Medical and Dental plan.
Life insurance is provided at no cost to the employee.

Disability Insurance

Long-term disability insurance coverage is provided at no cost to the employee.

The CBA Statement of Faith

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative source of Christian doctrine and precept.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but as a result of sin is lost and powerless to save himself.
We believe that the only hope for man is to believe on Jesus Christ, the virgin-born Son of God, Who died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of mankind, and Who rose from the dead so that by receiving Him as Saviour and Lord, man is redeemed by His blood.
We believe that Jesus Christ in person will return to earth in power and glory.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells those who have received Christ for the purpose of enabling them to live righteous and godly lives.
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and is composed of all those who through belief in Christ have been spiritually regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit. The mission of the church is worldwide evangelization.
